I find assurance in this. Psalm 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change. Though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea. Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble with its tumult. Sometimes you need to remind yourself that only God has the best solution.

What is your worst fear? Is it your weakness, failure, injection, surgery or death? What constitute your worst fear? Have you thought of an escape plan, if you have to face it? I've thought of faith and fear. It's your worst fear so it's only normal if you are afraid but it's never the best solution. What is your solution going to be, Faith or Fear?
What do thieves want? What have they been stealing? Are the things of value? Thieves don't steal worthless things, they seek things of value. If a man is of value then there is no way, he wouldn't be sought. There's nothing valuable in a dead man but a living man is of value. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy; you may wonder why you can't enjoy life without plights. Remember that the thief only seeks things of value and you certainly are of value. Evil only seeks good to destroy it. The devil still wants what God owns.
The first time I opened a dictionary, I was confused. I found it difficult to search for words because there were so many of them under a letter. My grandfather taught me that, just as the alphabets are in order, the spelling of words also follow an order. Hence the first word under an alphabet would begin with that letter and the first vowel; the rest follow that trend. Living without guidance can also be confusing, everything you see seems like a good move to make; but I wonder how long you can survive. You don't just need guidance, you also need a guardian.
I watched a documentary about poverty in the European countries. One issue most of them had was homelessness. Most of the poor people were working and receiving salaries alright but it wasn't enough to afford a rent. Most of them owned cars, which is a flash of wealth in our part of the world but to them; it meant nothing. So these homeless workers have no choice but to sleep in their cars at the end of everyday. It's simple, what you may brag about is the least someone has.
Light in darkness. It's quite difficult to see in the dark for the very first few minutes but your eyes adjust after a while. Light always overpowers darkness. If you ever get trapped in a hole and you get surrounded by predators; you are at least safe till they get in. Now imagine if someone comes to your aid; first, the person gets rid of the predators and then helps you out of the hole; that's what light does in darkness. No matter how deep you are in the dark, light can always find you and save you.
Faith. It is easy to have faith but difficult to hold on to it. You need faith to be able to hope for something and you need to hold on to it till you receive what you hoped for. When faith meets doubt, things normally don't work out because faith is like a thread and doubt is a scissors. The moment you doubt something, your faith weakens and die out. Have faith ; it would work, don't think too much about it or you would end up doubting.
Where you want God to be. When you fix a CCTV camera in front of your house, don't expect to view scenes that goes on behind the house. We've been given the right to make our own choices hence we should face the consequences. God acts only when you ask him to hence the saying; if there is a man to pray, there is a God to answer. If you ask God to take care of just your academics, he would but what happens to your finances? Or happiness ? Or growth? If you exclude God from any aspect of your life then you are on your own but if He's included; then you have nothing to worry about.
It's funny how sometimes the solutions you formulate, solve other people's problems but not yours. How many times have you explained an assignment to a friend and wondered how you came about it? I'm sure you had no idea you even understood the work. It's always easy to help others than yourself. Sometimes as you help others solve their problems you find a solution to yours. We did come as individuals into this world but extending a helping hand to someone is also necessary.
He works behind the scene. What are the roles of a director? A lot, but are they seen in their works? No. Sometimes they are even lost to their audience, they work so hard to get the acts into perfection and yet the praise always goes to the actors. God works behind the scene as well, the things we acknowledge him for are the least he does. We sometimes forget him too, and only remember him when things go wrong. Actors are perfect when a director plays his role well, we are perfect only because God is working behind the scene.
The easiest thing done is mostly the negatives. It's easy to lazy about, give up,waste time,tell lies, etc. How does it feel to climb a staircase? And how does it feel to descend it? It's difficult to do positive things because, first of all you need to make up your mind, then you need determination, you would also need strength and lastly the ability to do it. Building your life would require a lot from you but doing nothing requires nothing at all. In the end, it's your life not ours.
Why would some trees survive during the dry season as others die? Some trees sacrifice their leaves because they want to retain the little water they have in them whiles other tree roots grow deeper into the soil; in search of water. They all want to survive. We all want to make it in life but we aren't the same. Don't be influenced by others, trust yourself and things would work out. Don't follow the crowd, they aren't always right.
There would always be an opportunity to correct your mistakes. We all make mistakes, then guilt causes us to regret them but instead of moving on; some people brood over them so they miss their chance to correct them. You would make mistakes but if you don't learn from them and correct yourself; you would always repeat them. Don't bow to your mistakes, learn from them and move on.
One thing I seemed to have forgotten is that; if you do good, you do for yourself and if you do bad, you do for yourself. The truth is; people won't see your good, it's the bad that draws their attention. Don't mind what people do, what is important is that; if you do good or bad, it's for yourself.
If you ever ended up in the wilderness and you found water after been thirsty for days; you would drink like your life depended on it. Imagine if the stored up water you collected,finished and you had no strength to walk back to the water; you might think that is the end of your life, right? God is not found at a specific place so you can talk to him anytime. If God was like water then when you are too far from him; there would be no hope. So the good news is, he's never far; there's still hope as long as you have life; just call him.
As much as a pregnant woman makes preparations towards her labour, God certainly had a lot in mind when He was creating you. She knows she would give birth so she buys all she has to and makes room for the new baby. God knew you needed to survive so he put things in place for your well-being. God made preparations before handing you over to your parents; what other prove do you need of His love?
A mango tree differs from other trees. It has narrow leaves and a long structure; it also has lots of branches. If the mango tree were to grow broader leaves then it wouldn't be itself. Whatever makes you, is what makes you different from everybody else. As much as the narrow leaves serve it's purpose for mango trees, everything on you fulfils it's purpose. Whenever you try to change anything on you because you think someone's, is better; you cease to be you. Appreciate your uniqueness.
Have you ever yearned so much for something or the coming of a day? Whenever you expect something, it takes longer than when you don't. It's like when you are waiting for morning to come because you have somewhere to go; it never comes and yet you can't sleep. The truth about waiting for something is that, you have to try and enjoy the wait. Don't look forward to just the thing you are expecting, enjoy what you have now and make the most out of it. When you finally receive the thing you are expecting, you would have learnt a lot already so you can put it to the best use. Enjoy the wait.

As much as you can't worry about a character in a book, you shouldn't worry about your life. Someone created you so he is responsible for you, that's if you allow him. Don't worry.
