WORDS OF HOPE

When there's a burglary, you call for help. When there's a fire outbreak, you call for help. When you need money, you call for help. When you need someone to talk to, you certainly do same. Basically, there are so many help lines available whenever the need arises. Jonah 2:2 'In my distress I called to the Lord and he answered me'. Jonah called unto the same God that he was running away from, only He could help him. You have so many options to choose from when you need help, choose right.

Make preparations. What do you do when you have an appointment the next day? How about when you have a test to write? What of pregnant women? Almost everything done by man needs preparations, sometimes you need them to ease your work or just as a reminder. Most important of them is the purpose of practice, some practice as a form of preparation. What matters is that, you tune your mind by making preparation for whatever you have to do. Are you also making preparations for the end time?

Actors act scripts. Every actor plays a role accorded to him or her, they have to think,dress,eat and behave exactly like the role they are given. One script which is being acted by the entire would is the Bible. Everything that has happened, that is happening, that would happen is inside. You can  find everything in there, including comfort. As you experience pain, discomfort, grief, etc. find your comfort in there.

Don't try to lead in life. Have you ever raced before? Did you win or lose? When I was a kid I remember losing to a fat boy, I was very sad. In a race  when you start with all your strength, you are bound to lose in the end. Some people strategize themselves to be in the lead ahead of their colleagues, there is glory in that but it is exhausting. You would always be on the look out for others who may be improving, you would also be stressing yourself. In business, you could try to be in the lead but when it comes to your life, please don't compete with anyone.

The rate of car accidents kind of scares me. The state of some of the cars are beyond recognition but imagine the number of cars that are manufactured and sold each year. Car ownership is one of the luxuries people enjoy, I ask,  do people ever think of the harm it can cause to them? Well, I sure don't. Car accidents doesn't deter people from buying them, nobody wishes to get involved in it but if you do; we just hope that you survive in one peace. If the possibility of injury or death doesn't deter you from driving or sitting in a car, why should failure get you to give up in life?

Investment. Why do you make them? What do you invest in? And where do you invest ? Whiles some companies are reliable others are not but can anything be a hundred percent reliable? There are contingencies. In the current world that we live in, nothing lasts for long, so what happens to your investments when you are no more; others would benefit. If you didn't make investments for your eternity, it's even worst than not having any investment on earth. As you store treasures on earth, do same with heaven.

The consequences of our actions. Don't you know them? Isn't it easy to ignore them? Sometimes we do  things knowing very well that it won't end well. That's what I call instant pleasure, enjoy it and suffer for it later. Remember that your instant pleasure could cause someone's doom, you may not know of it, but you are bound to pay for it later. I can assure you that, then you would have forgotten all about it.

What do u think is the purpose of jail sentence? It's a place to get reformed but I ask, does it really make up for the crime one has committed? It doesn't. Jail sentence may curtail one's freedom, waste one's years and ruin one's life but it does not make up for the crimes one has committed. I guess it's a punishment for whoever commits the crime, it's for the person to know that time is valuable and if  he or she doesn't make good use of it; it can be lost.

What can cause fire in the wild? Lightening can certainly do. If it strikes a tree, it can spread and burn a whole forest. Do you know what else can burn and spread like fire? The tongue. Just one word, as soon as it comes out of your mouth; it's effect is irreversible. When you are angry, you are like lightening, if you speak; it burns whoever hears it.

Why do we communicate? There's a lot to be said and heard. Why then don't we? How do we resolve our issues? Why has silence become the only option? There's a need to communicate, there's a lot you need to know and a lot I need to say. In silence, we assume and that leads to the genesis of our problems. We can only find out the truth from each other if we communicate.

If wishes were horses, most of us would have been living a different life. Sometimes you see people do things and you wish to be like them. What are some of the crazy things you've seen people do? Can you do them? Are you sure your  your life would be the same after that? For once, you wish to act crazy, well; that's not a bad feeling except we are not all the same. What others are doing may be harmful to you, you may not even survive the impact. One thing you need to know is that you don't survive on luck; there is more to it.

If someone commits a crime he or she is judged by the law court. So the person who steals could serve a jail sentence and pay back the money and whoever commits murder; well jail sentence or death penalty but I ask, can that blood shed be replaced? Life is all about living , if someone takes yours; the person might get another opportunity to live right. live right, it's not too late till death.

You can choose to live your life   in secret or in the open. When you post something on the internet, this is what you've literally done; you are giving everyone the right to comment on it and to keep it till they find a use for it. The comments could be bad or good and anyone can use it for a good course or a bad one; you, have given them the right. You may not see the faults in the things you post on the internet for now, but remember that there would be records in the future.
