TRUST

Some people trust in dogs to keep them safe. Others trust in heavy doors, whiles others believe in weapons. What do you trust in when it comes to your safety? Bullet proof vests, cars, windows, etc. All these are trusted in times of safety. The last plague of God took the lives of all firstborns in Egypt, the Israelites were safe as long as the blood of a lamb was in front of their doors. They placed their trust in the directions given to them. If a blood of a mere lamb could prevent the spirit of death from entering, what then; can't the blood of Jesus do? You could ask him to mark you with it.

VALUABLE

Matthew 13: 44. "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Is it worth it to make such a sacrifice? The man sold all he had for the treasure because  of it's value. Obviously the treasure is more valuable than all he has. The kingdom of  God is more valuable than anything but if you ain't ready to make such a sacrifice, then you don't know the true value of being a child of God.

THE WORLD OF MUSIC

Music is a whole world on it's own. Everyone has that perfect  song for every moment, in times of sadness, pain, fear, anger, happiness or confusion.  I love my music, the words and rhythm soothes me and during those moments; nothing else matters. Saul was one man who's torture could be cured with music played with the harp. Each time Samuel played it for him, he felt relieved. I don't know the type of music you like but I recommend inspirational songs for you; it's a therapy. That's if you listen to the right song.

True Friends.

Do you have  that friend that would comfort you when you cry. Some friends would also cry, while others would sit by and watch you cry. These friends know you better so they know when to comfort you and when not to. I know of one man, whose friends sat by him for seven days and seven nights without talking to him, because they knew that their friend needed just their presence.  Job's friends didn't forsake him, they were present to give him the comfort he needed but in the end they gave him a bad advice. Do true friends still exist? I believe they do but the question is, what advice are they giving you?

INHERITANCE

Parents work hard because they want to amass properties for their children. Nobody wishes to die without living a good life, we all wish to be productive in life. Some parents live their kids with money, houses, works, cars, etc. Other parents also live such exemplary lives worth emulating. After Christ resurrected and ascended into heaven, he promised us something, He said that the Holy Spirit would come and guide us. God knows the essence of inheritance so he gave us a priceless gift; the Holy Spirit and Christ also lived an exemplary life worth emulating. These are inheritances which we are all entitled to. What would your children inherit from you?

The Outside Matters.

Water takes the shape of it's container. Water wanders in any path that it creates or is created for it. Without something to hold water, it's just a flowing liquid. Nobody would know what's in your heart and it may not matter. Just like water, your outer body should be shaped by  what's inside your heart. We always say that God looks at the heart but how about the weak people who need others to look up to? If you are pure in heart, it should reflect on the outside; you may be the only Bible someone is reading.

Don't be judgemental

Are you the first to see people's faults? I know that you aren't proud of how some people are living their lives but, do you know what is going on in their lives? You certainly wouldn't know how tight a person's shoe is till you try it on. Maybe your life is perfect but that doesn't give you the ticket to be judgemental. Sometimes it's difficult to over look the mistakes of others but how would you feel if you are judged for every little thing you do? As much as you won't enjoy being judged all the time, don't judge others.

A World Of Troubles

In this world you will have trouble but take heart! I have overcome the world. John 16:33.  Why would the man who could bring the dead back to life tell his disciples that? Why would the son of the creator talk of the troubles of this world? Was it to instill fear in man? I doubt. I guess it's best we know the truth, the truth that this world is filled with troubles. With the truth in mind, let's consider the solution. He said he has overcome the world, that's good news. So there would be trouble but there is a man who has overcome it and he is the only one who has. Remember this in times of trouble; the best solution is to run to God.

Self Inflicting Injuries

The most painful injuries are those we inflict on ourselves. Have you bitten you tongue before? How about studding your toes on a stone or door? Have you bumped your butt so hard after slipping? These injuries  are quite painful, because we cause them and we can't punish  ourselves for them. Someone can ruin your life but, there could be a chance you you repairing it. How about when you ruin your own life? Could there be a chance of you repairing it? Would you have that much strength to do it? Maybe, so to be on the safer side; please be mindful of the choices you make and the things you do so that you don't end up ruining your life.
Don't laugh at people's misfortune. 'Y3se s3 wohu s3 nwusei firi obi ab)dwes3 mu 3baa, sa nsuo si wode3 ho". I hope I got it right. It's quite rude to ridicule people, you can never tell what would happen to you. Sometimes it's not the fault of people, they happen to have been mislead so they end up in a bad state. Some people give up or even end their lives when others ridicule them so the next time you try to do that; please think twice.
When a thief steals, he sells it to someone and keeps the money. It's either he doesn't have or he's just greedy for more. The devil also has good things to offer, things he has stolen from others and, those that some people have willingly given to him in exchange for other things. As much as you may not be aware of a stolen item, you may also not be aware of the source of things you collect from people. Buying a stolen item also makes you a criminal, collecting things from a bad source also makes you bad. Please be mindful of the things you take from people, you might never know where they get it from.
What is the purpose of money? Is money evil as they say? Or is it the person who possesses the money? Money makes things good; my opinion. With money you can achieve a lot of things but when you allow that same  money to control you, that's when it becomes evil. A person makes money evil but money it, I don't believe is evil. What are you using your money for? Is your money controlling your actions and attitude? Is greed getting the best part of you? Money become evil when you allow it to control you so please be mindful of what you do with it.
When logs are use to make fire, they burn together. When a log is taken out of that fire, it is sure to die out. But when the log is placed back in the it, it would certainly burn again. When people are united they work together, when one person falls out of that group; he is sure to grow alone. We all have one thing in common, it is life. When we live, it is not for only us, but others as well. We are much stronger when we work together, you need my help and I certainly need yours. We are one and we can make it if we help each other.
When God created birds there were no electric poles. Have you ever thought why birds don't get electrocuted when they perch on electric wire? When a bird is perched on a single wire, its two feet are at the same electrical potential as the wire so they can't be electrocuted. Is it a coincidence that God made birds that way? It's not.  God knows the end from the very beginning so he prepared the bird for it. If God had good plans for birds, how about the one he made in his image? God certainly has better plans for you.
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” (the Bible, Isaiah 53:5). Now tell me, do you think whatever you have been through is not for a purpose? If the son of God was wounded and what for? Our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities and by his stripes are we healed. His pain gives us relief, he suffered for our own good. Guess what, we are suffering for our own good, he made a sacrifice for us so please make some your yourself and others.
The purpose of a community is to unify people. The purpose of a school is to train people. The purpose of a relationship is to bring people together and help them relate. The purpose of a church is to unify God's people and make them stronger. Do you think you can survive alone? I've watched documentaries of people being raised by animals in the wild, they certainly couldn't have survived without them. You can do anything on your own but along the line you would need help and that's why other people exist. You can decide to stay away from church because of how crook some leaders are but the church is there to strengthen you and help you. You can build your own church with your bible, your God and yourself but when you become stronger, you would need to help others.
You need to be careful with words when around kids, what of adults? Basically you need to watch what you say. During that interview; you would need to make that perfect speech. The right words matter but sometimes out of  pain, fear, confusion or happiness, you might not remember the right words to use. That's different when it comes to talking with God, He already knows your plights and as you ask him, he doesn't require a rehearsed speech. He only wants you to pour it all out on him, there's no need for perfect speech.
Sometimes what you may need  is a word of advise to keep you going. The advise may encourage you or help you desist from a bad habit but it all boils down to you. If you listen to it, then there is hope. I know of a word which does even more and it is all that you would ever need. His word, He has said a lot of things concerning everything, he even has solutions to problems yet unknown. God's word is all that matters, if the advises you've received don't work for you, try God's word.
Kids imitate almost everything they see or hear. They are fast learners, they know nothing and so out of curiosity they imitate. They stare at everything you do and do same, they may not seem to understand anything but they would gladly give it a try. Aren't some people like that? They imitate others, like kids they know nothing so they just do what others do. Do you know the reason why people do the things you are imitating? If you don't, then don't do it. You don't have a reason for copying others so stop it.
Jeremiah 33:3. Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things which you have not known.  You need airtime to make a call. What if the person's line is busy? What if it's off? What if the person doesn't hear it ring? Not all the help  lines are reliable but I know one which is never busy or jammed or off. All you need to do is to call GOD; the credit needed is faith, certainly not for sale. Make that call while it's still free.
What are you remembered for? I remember my grandpa for teaching me how to use a dictionary. I remember my dad for giving me a welcome party after I completed Senior High School. I would  remember my mum for her advise. I would  remember my sisters for their guidance and  I would  remember some of my friends for correcting my mistakes. It's good to be remembered for something good you have done, it doesn't have to be much but it should be from your heart. Make an impact on others, you could be changing lives.
