WORDS OF HOPE

 I don't wish to know the future, I plead that I get the requirements to face it. Who can supply my future needs? It has to be one who exist in all times, that's God. There's no guarantee that  tomorrow holds no trouble, the best preparation you can make is to have God on your side. 

I know I've got problems and most importantly I'm the problem. I don't know the solutions and I don't have them but I know that you have. God, Please take over and fix me. 

 We have problems, some obvious to those around us and others deeply buried within us and, taking effect on our daily lives. Are problems inevitable like death? How do we get tangled up in problems? We are solely responsible, what's your take on that? The body is just an engine and you have some percentage of control and the rest is in the hands of the maker. How deep have you gone in the mud? Are you trying to move out? Has it been successful? Each  problem seem to lead to another, huh? The solution is the maker, for Him; it's never too late. 

 I watched a video on facebook and can't seem to forget it. It was a set stage, with a stained white T-shirt on a hanger, two bowls; with one containing water and the other containing sanitizer. The stained T-shirt represents a sinner, the bowl of water represents a church and the sanitizer represents God Himself. The host dipped the stained T-shirt in the water, it got worse; he then took it out and put it in the bowl of sanitizer and stirred it. Surprisingly it turned white again, he proceeded to pure it into the stained water; it turned clean. When people turn from their sinful ways, they need the church to help them find God, instead the church  criticize and judge them but when God intervenes the person's sins are washed away and the person is saved. The church needs to follow the footsteps of God.

 Try singing a song you aren't familiar with the words. How did that go? That's how living is, you are treading on a path you have no idea about. You are going to be curious most times, scared sometimes and bold at other times; you have to make a move one way or another. That's why you need God in every aspect of your life, He lived before the world existed, He made everything in it and has power over it all. Don't try to be smart in a world that holds more than you can see, seek God and hold unto Him 

 Some things have generational effects. One thing we hardly acknowledge is the fact that the effect of sin can extend to many generations to come. Sin also has spiritual effects, mostly we see the physical effects but, the spiritual aspect is more deadly. In your absence a spirit can use your sin as a ground to work against your family members. You might not suffer for your sins but the next generation might. Please don't let your choices in life be the cause of your relative's misery.

 It's funny how everyday seems the same; yesterday, today, tomorrow, nothing seems to change. Let's compare the days just so we can be sure; are you sure you felt the same throughout the days? How about the news you heard  over the days? Are you meeting the same people each day? Are you facing the same problems? Have you been thinking about the same things? How about the air you've been breathing? The days may be similar but they aren't the same. Everyday is another opportunity for you work things out, if you can do it one day at a time; there would be a difference in future.

 You only notice the beauty of the sky when your surroundings are dark. When was the last time you admired the stars in the sky? When was the last time you saw a full moon? I'm positive that you hardly pay attention to them because other things have your attention. Sometimes you don't notice how lucky you are, because you are surrounded by problems; you prefer to see the problems than your privileges. Problems are very destructive, they blind you even in the face of solutions. Try it, assess the privileges you enjoy and let the problems fade away  for a while. 

 It's easy to get carried away with doing things to please yourself.

 The rate at which accidents are rising is very alarming. People are just dying like a routine. There are lots of causes; over speeding, overtaking, drinking and driving, poor roads etc. We've had these issues for a long time so what is causing the sudden increase? I overheard a man sharing a sad accident he witnessed some days ago. He saw a motorist being knocked down by a taxi and being run over by an articulator truck. It was a gruesome scene. You can do your best to stay safe on the road but someone's mistake can cause your death. His advice is that we should always pray for safety and to be guarded by God.

 *WORDS FOR THOUGHT* I've realised that most time parents are hard on their children. What could be the reason? I use to assume that maybe my mum didn't love me, she's a disciplinary and it didn't go well with me. She is always like do this, don't do that, stay here don't go there; too many instructions! I complained to my elder sister, she sat me down. People make mistakes, so do our parents. They don't want us to repeat their mistakes so they try as much as possible to guide us on our journey of living. What can I say?  Our parents can't correct their mistakes but they can prevent their offsprings from repeating them.
