WORDS OF HOPE

 What is the difference between a mason and an architect? Both workers are in the field of construction but one plans and the other establishes. An architect designs buildings or other structures whiles a mason builds with stones or bricks. Man makes plans in the heart but God establishes it. Unlike the mason who needs a plan to work, God needs a heart to work through. The mason is human and can make mistakes whiles working but trust me God hasn't, won't and can't make mistakes. You can trust God to establish your plans and even make them better.

  It's normal to lose a thing or two once in a while. We do search for them but we may find them or not. Why do we search for lost items? Can't we replace them? Most times it's not about being able to replace it or not; it's about it's value and benefit to us. The  lost item could have been replaced but why waste the money if it's possible to find it. After finding a lost item there's this happiness that we feel, it's quite a relief. When you don't have God in your heart, you are lost. God searches for lost sheep's and when he finds them; the bible says heaven rejoices. There are many saved souls in this world but God gladly welcomes new ones. 

 "When you go to Rome do what Romans do". I believe that this saying is being abused, as for the reason; it's quite simple. It has become an excuse for many bad acts. When you find yourself among crooks, should you act like one? When everyone is living a lie, does it mean that you should too? When the crowd is causing trouble, are you obliged to do so too? We are living this life individually so you don't have to please others. You know what you should and shouldn't do, you shouldn't worry about being the odd one if that's the right decision to be made. Don't make the wrong decisions to please others because you would suffer the consequences alone.

 The usual is; everyone is a good lawyer when it comes their issues but a good judge when it comes to the issues of others. "Don't judge a book by it's cover", a popular saying which has lost it's impact. You may have an excuse 

If we all had  good mindsets for one another, living in this world would have been much better. Ants have one of the strongest forces when it comes to working together. Have you seen an ant hill before? Some of them are very tall and it's easier for them to put it up because they have the same mindset. During the dry season ants would gather  food and because they all have that intension in mind, they would gather enough for everyone. Ants play different roles in their colony, whiles some search for food, others guard the colony; yet, they live as one, how about us? Can we have the same mindset? Can we all wish for the good of our own country? Can we stand as one when it comes to matters of the state? Or are we divided when it comes to playing our roles? We all have different opinions but when it comes to the good of our livelihoods, we should have the same and good mindset.

 Some people have the tendency of talking more than listening. They always want to be heard but how would you know if you don't listen? Sometimes only your ears are necessary, your lips need to be sealed. You can learn a lot when you listen. God also talks but if you are always whining about your misfortunes, you wouldn't hear him. You need to listen to his whispers and trust and obey him. These are the best principles to hold unto as child of God.

"Thank you for being you". Has anyone said that to you before? Being you is not about the things you do for others, it's about sticking to your true pure identity no matter what. If you change personalities just to please people then you are not being you. From the beginning of time till date, God hasn't changed, not even to suit the current state of the world. God still shows love and some people may attest to it while others won't. Everyone has his own experience with God but God is Himself. If we can appreciate people for being themselves then we should do even better with God. People may cook up many stories about God, portraying Him as a two mouthed being. God's word would always be one, He never has a change of mind so if someone is painting God as such; it's quite obvious that God is not the speaker. THANK YOU GOD, FOR BEING YOU! 

 How many people have died since the beginning of time? How many of these people are remembered? We may all have lost a loved one at a point in time, genuinely those people's memories are gradually fading away. We may still love them but  we are not creating more memories with them. So many people have died and for the reasons, I can't tell. Basically many people are  gone and forgotten but one man's death and resurrection is remembered and celebrated till date. All of us would go and be forgotten but we can be happy that a time would come for us to be resurrected and reunited with Jesus Christ. A man who is gone but remembered. If you want to be remembered after your death, you should have God in your heart.

 The world of the internet is a platform for competition. Netizens are citizens of the internet. Literally, netizens are characterized with perfection, everyone seems to have a perfect life. They are all trying to please themselves and cover up what happens in reality. A lot of relationships exist among netizens, there are friendships, families, couples, enemies, leaders and followers. These relationships normally aren't genuine, why would I say that? It's quite simple. Netizens have identities created to suit the demands of the various platforms. Life on the internet is just an act, if you want to play a role, you would end up putting on a false identity. Don't lose your true identity for the sake of the internet because nobody's life is perfect. Perfection is not rated so live how you can.

 What is so unique about the role of body guards? Are they special beings? What goes into their training? Body guards ensure the security of their bosses. Some may even sacrifice their lives for their bosses but others would not. Body guards are people just like you and I, and as people, they can't be trusted a hundred percent so whose protection can? God assured Moses that He would be with him in his quest to bring the Israelites out of Egypt.  Weren't the Egyptians also creations of God? Yet God fought against them because His presence was with the Israelites. If God's presence is with you, nothing and no one can stand in your way! 

 Some horror movies can be funny and less fearful but others, would just give you nightmares. Most of the things we watch in horror movies don't even exist but writers create them any way. Aside horror movies, other things causes fear in men. Death, diseases, risks, poverty etc. These fears causes panic but the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Fearing God avails a lot for us. Only God can cause global fear but he doesn't want you to fear him because of the harm he can cause to you. Fear God because of his uniqueness and you shall be rewarded.

 It's the little decisions you take that sets your directions for a life time. When walking, it takes just a turn to change direction. The new direction would have a different path from the previous one on which you walked. The turn from one direction to another is a small action and yet it causes a change. Life is not always about the big decisions such as buying properties, getting married or living our biggest dream. The little decisions such as being loyal, truthful, happy, strong, hopeful, courageous, helpful, peaceful, compassionate etc. makes a great impact on our lives. You don't need to focus solely on the big decisions, they may be necessary but they should be guided by the small actions you take.
