A CHANGE OF HEART

Between good and bad people, the fore die earlier than the latter. Why is God allowing that to happen? It's because God wants a change of heart. The Bible states that heaven rejoices over a born again; it means that every soul on earth matters to God. God would gladly take away a person with a good heart than watch the person change; that's why good men are taken quite earlier. As for bad men, they would live longer; that's the chance God is giving to them for them to have a change of heart. The lesson is this, don't be vulnerable in Christ; if you die without knowing Christ; those who caused your death would have the chance to have a change of heart.

COME PREPARED

What is your preparation when you are going out on a rainy day? How about when going out to make a purchase? Most people carry a rain coat or umbrella on rainy days whiled others don't. I  for one carry extra money when stepping out to make a purchase. Do you make preparations a day before an important event? Are you making preparations for your future? How about the coming of the Lord? It seems like forever since He said He would come but if He comes; how prepared are you?

A REMINDER

With life routines shaping us, we tend to forget some petty things and, that's why a reminder is needed. Calendars have reminders so it's easy to be reminded of special days in the year. Do we need a reminder of God's goodness? Certainly! We tend to get carried away by life's routines and forget God's existence. As a reminder of God's goodness, remember you got life, without it none of the world pleasures would have mattered to you. There's still oxygen in the atmosphere. The sun still shines otherwise we would have frozen to death. Water beds are full, plants are growing and bearing fruits. Lastly, we still have him as our God. He loves us and that's a reminder to hold unto.

WELL PLEASED

Are you pleased easily? With what? Some people enjoy pleasing others, why? Benefits, I suppose. Have you ever pleased anyone? Sometimes we please people for good reasons and other times we please for bad reasons. Some women please men with their dressing whiles men do it with their brags; for so many reasons. Have you ever thought of pleasing God? Do you know how? Well, the bible says that without faith you can't please God. Do you love God? Do you want to please Him? Well, just have faith in Him and acknowledge Him always and He would give you all you can ever need and even eternal salvation.

TRADITIONAL EFFECT

Before Christianity was introduced to the African society, there existed traditional religion. I don't know much from then, but I think our ancestors had a way of protecting themselves. They believed in smaller gods, right? They must have committed their families into their hands, that could mean that all they did for the well being of their families would have a lifetime effect on whoever falls under those families. In a nut shell, there could be a family curse or covenant. If you come out of such a family, you would have to break free from that bondage if you wanna make a difference. So you see, the problem is not always from you; it could be a generational problem which is manifesting in every family member's life. You can break free if you seek God's intervention; after all whoever seeks, finds.

PERSONAL ISSUES

Sometimes we judge God based on the plights we see others go through. How many mad men and women do you see on the streets? How many blind people do you see begging in traffic daily? How many physically challenged people live in your neighborhood? Have you ever thought that God has been unfair to some people? Doesn't God love them? Why does God allow misfortunes to happen to people? First of all, I don't have the answers to these questions but I know for a fact that everyone has his own experience with God. How would you know the relationship between others and God? You have the right to view God as you want; that's between you and Him but it's certainly not right to judge God based on other's plights. Please serve your God and allow others to do as well.

WARFARE

I wonder what rushes through the minds of soldiers on the battle field. Do they think of the possibility of surviving? What motivates them to keep fighting? I don't know what soldiers are told before they get to the battle field but it certainly gets them sacrificing their lives. When we pray to God, it's a conversation but when we pray against our enemies it's a warfare. I know for a fact that if your enemies wage war against you, you have to retaliate with prayer. On the battle field, you either win or lose so till you win; don't stop praying. If soldiers can sacrifice their lives for their states then you can sacrifice your time for prayers.
