GRATITUDE

Inspiration from the following verses Isaiah 25:1 "LORD, you are my God; I will honour you and praise your name. You have done amazing things : you have faithfully carried out the plans you made long ago." Amen Psalm 98:1 "Sing a new song to the LORD; He has done wonderful things. By His own power and holy strength He has won the victory." Amen Numbers 23:9 "God is not like men, who lie, He is not a human who changes His mind. Whatever He promises, He does, He speaks, and it is done." Have you ever felt like God has failed you? Has a delay caused you to think that God didn't care about you? If God is doing it for others, why not me? Have my sins swallowed me up in the sight of God? Or am I doing things the wrong way?I don't understand God, He has this unique way of going about things, twins don't even share the same DNA. How is He able to do everything distinctly? Have you realised that the same situation can cause different emotions in people? The same air we breath, the same vegetables we eat, the same land we plant seeds and yet different produce.How many things has God done for you, how many of them did you pray for? These is so much to be grateful for than complained about.We are all different people, different lives and different destinies. God can make you happy as that person you are comparing yourself to. God had your life planned out before you were born, He is not trying to see what He can do for you now. Develop a habit of gratitude, take time off your busy schedules and thank God. As you thank Him for what He has done for you, He would guide you on what to do.God has done a lot for you than you may have noticed. Please don't take anything for granted. Praise God and be grateful.

WHY WORRY

Inspiration from the following bible verses John 14:1 "Do not be worried and upset," Believe" in God and believe also in me. John 14:27 "Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid. John 16: "I have told you this so that you will have peace by being united to me. The world will make you suffer. But be brave! I have defeated the world!" Why worry? It looks like the easiest thing to do when there is no solution. Why not worry? It doesn't solve the problem.I use to worry about everything. From my body to other people's problems. It just seemed natural to me, I felt worrying only meant that I cared a lot. I worried about things I had no control over and that was very stressful.Worrying doesn't just drain you of your energy, it brings about fear and panic and deprives you of peace.Is worrying a solution? No! Does worrying provide a solution?

GENESIS 18: 1-15 The Three Visitor she LORD appeared unto Abraham. After reading, kindly note these;He was at the right place. He was sensitive. He was generous,He was favoured in the sight of the visitors He had faith. Abraham was sensitive enough to know who they were, (3 in number) he offered them water to wash their feet, a place of rest and food. After the feast, the LORD prophesied the birth of Isaac, Sarah doubted it, shouldn't that have angered the LORD? Doubt hinders the fulfilment of prophecies. Abraham believed in the LORD, presumably his faith was strong enough to receive the word from the LORD. Note this, the three visitors were on their way to visit Sodom and Gomorah, to destroy them; for their sins had angered the LORD. On His way to destroy a city. He blessed one who had found favour in His sight. Mind you, Lot and his family lived in the same city destined for doom. What was to become of Abraham's nephew?
