PURITY

Inspiration from the following verses 2 Corinthians 7:1 "All these promises are made to us my dear friends.So then let us purify ourselves from everything that makes body or soul unclean, and let us be completely holy by living in awe of God. 2 Corithians 6:17-18 And so the LORD says, "you must leave them and separate yourselves from them. Have nothing to do with what is unclean and I will accept you. "I will be your father, and you shall be my sons and daughters," says the LORD Almighty. Would you gladly walk out in dirty cloths? Would you decide to stop tidying your house because it is bound to get untidy again. Would you stop bathing because the body would get dirty again? Would you consider dirt as an option anytime? Dirt isn't just unhealthy, it breeds insects, rodents, etc. The presence of these can make living very uncomfortable. A dirty environment affects those who live in it; you begin to smell like it and end up looking as such.How do you think heaven looks like? In my opinion, it looks as Holy as it's maker. God is clean, not a speck of sin can be associated with Him and that is why He wants us to have nothing to do with anything unclean. We are His followers, we need to be like Him in every way.God provided a home for us, stocked it with Air, water, food and Resources for whatever we could create. And all He asks for in return is that we follow the rules He has set for us. As a child of God, would you emulate the father?
