 Jesus Anoined By a Sinful Woman


Like 7:36-50

A sinful woman sought God. Note; she was a sinner but she knew that she needed God in her life, when she heard Jesus was dinning in the house of a Pharisee, she went there with an alabaster box of ointment .

Upon arrival, she washed Jesus feet with her tears, wiped them with her hair and kissed them, then she anointed them.

Her tears represents her broken spirit which needed healing.

Her hair represents her crown which she laid at the feet of Jesus Christ

The alabaster box of oil represents her sacrifice. 

Note: She gave her all when she met her saviour, would you?

WHY WORRY

Inspiration from the following bible verses John 14:1 "Do not be worried and upset," Believe" in God and believe also in me. John 14:27 "Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid. John 16: "I have told you this so that you will have peace by being united to me. The world will make you suffer. But be brave! I have defeated the world!" Why worry? It looks like the easiest thing to do when there is no solution. Why not worry? It doesn't solve the problem.I use to worry about everything. From my body to other people's problems. It just seemed natural to me, I felt worrying only meant that I cared a lot. I worried about things I had no control over and that was very stressful.Worrying doesn't just drain you of your energy, it brings about fear and panic and deprives you of peace.Is worrying a solution? No! Does worrying provide a solution?

GENESIS 18: 1-15 The Three Visitor she LORD appeared unto Abraham. After reading, kindly note these;He was at the right place. He was sensitive. He was generous,He was favoured in the sight of the visitors He had faith. Abraham was sensitive enough to know who they were, (3 in number) he offered them water to wash their feet, a place of rest and food. After the feast, the LORD prophesied the birth of Isaac, Sarah doubted it, shouldn't that have angered the LORD? Doubt hinders the fulfilment of prophecies. Abraham believed in the LORD, presumably his faith was strong enough to receive the word from the LORD. Note this, the three visitors were on their way to visit Sodom and Gomorah, to destroy them; for their sins had angered the LORD. On His way to destroy a city. He blessed one who had found favour in His sight. Mind you, Lot and his family lived in the same city destined for doom. What was to become of Abraham's nephew?
