PSALM 85 :1-15

Let's assume the Isrealites disobeyed the LORD and He turned His back against them. His anger was kindled against them and they suffered severely. One thing about the Isrealites is that they always turn back to God when God cautions them. It is not good that they kept repeating the same mistake; serving other gods and forsaking the ways of God. The Isrealites can be likened to an average Christian today, making the same mistakes and going to God for forgiveness. Each time they repented and turned to God He took them back; that is those who had survived the punishment. And the LORD gives them that which isgood; and yield her increase. Righteousness goes before them and set in the way of their steps. Amen

THE CONTRARY

 1 Samuel 2:1-10 HANNAH'S PRAYER H annah, a barren woman prayed onto God and He answered in His time. She made a vow to dedicate the child to God and she fulfilled it, she sent the child; Samuel, to serve the house of God.  What is your state in the face of troubles? Are you heartbroken? Are you discouraged? Are you in doubts? Does God seem powerless? Does the devil whisper weakening words to you and do you open your spirit to it? Normally, you are expected to grief in times of troubles, fear and panic should take over and then you are expected to word defeat and give in to temptation.  B ut! When you do the contrary, the devil is confused. Rubber is expected to melt when exposed to fire but when it doesn't; it becomes a mystery. And more and more fire would be exposed to it till a conclusion is made. Why should you rejoice in times of troubles, that is healthy for you and that is how you can survive. A RESPONSIBILITY

 As a child you are guided by the elderly, as you grow up, you learn to guide yourself and when you are aged; you get to enjoy the fruits of your labour. One thing about life is that when you don't lead a fruitful life in your youthful age, you tend to live with the regrets in your old age. As a child, you are told what to do, sometimes you refuse it and get hurt but you get to bounce back and start afresh. The youthful stage of life requires a lot, you need to build a life as you learn from your mistakes, but if you don't make much out of that stage, then your  old age becomes miserable. In your old age, you should be enjoying the fruits of your labour but you end up mourning the bad life you lived because you didn't pay attention to your responsibilities. Living is a responsibility which should be fulfilled well.
