HIS FORMULAR

God works differently We all pray that God should save us from trouble, mind you everything that discomforts man is trouble, someone finds it discomforting to move out of their comfort zones. Sincerely what have you been achieving in your comfort zone? If you still planning to have a wonderful future and you are sitting in your comfort zone, I hope you know where you heading! Back to God's formular for solving problems, God didn't save Daniel from the lion's den, He saved him within the den, neither did He save Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from the fire, He saved them within it. let's not forget the red sea which was parted and not taken. God tests us, some look like problems however He strengthens us while we go through it.

PSALM 85 :1-15

Let's assume the Isrealites disobeyed the LORD and He turned His back against them. His anger was kindled against them and they suffered severely. One thing about the Isrealites is that they always turn back to God when God cautions them. It is not good that they kept repeating the same mistake; serving other gods and forsaking the ways of God. The Isrealites can be likened to an average Christian today, making the same mistakes and going to God for forgiveness. Each time they repented and turned to God He took them back; that is those who had survived the punishment. And the LORD gives them that which isgood; and yield her increase. Righteousness goes before them and set in the way of their steps. Amen

PSALM 84

Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a Sun and Shield; the LORD will give grace and glory, no good thing withheld from them that walk upright. Amen For the LORD God is a Sun He is the light of the world And a Shield The protector or security system for all believers He gives grace The fuel for sustaining man in a Sinful world And glory The reward and presence of the Most High Nothing good shall be withheld God certainly wants the best for us. He knows how to pamper us. He is a father who's heart beats for our wellbeing. From those who walk uprightly? How do you walk uprightly? By building a relationship with God through prayer, reading and meditating on the word, worshipping and fasting. Automatically you end up living right.

SECOND CHANCE

Psalm 85: 1-13 The Isrealites disobeyed the LORD and He turned His back against them. His anger was kindled against them and they suffered severely. One thing about the Isrealites is that they always turn back to God. It's not good that they kept repeating the same mistake, serving other gods. Their attitude can be likened to an average Christian today, making the same mistakes and going to God for forgiveness. Each time they turned to God He took them back;those that had survived the punishment. And God gives them that which is good and their land yield her increase. Righteousness goes before them and set in the way of their steps.

WhATEVER GOES AROUND COMES AROUND

imagine someone treating you the same way you treat others, how would you feel? Does it sound good to be at the receiving end of treatment? Some people tolerate other's behaviour because they prefer not to put up a fight but why discomfort others? Whatever goes around comes around.

SINCERITY

Mark 14:32-42 Jesus Prays In Gethsemane The Theme for the bible text is Sincerity. We all have secrets, at least one that we have vowed not to share with anyone. Have you gotten to the point where you break down and blur out your emotions irrespective of where you are? I have! in the absence of people, yes! no one was around. When the time of death was near, Jesus broke down, sincerely, He wanted to escape the misery He was about to be put through. There are times when you want out, even when you are aware that God is training you. Right now I wish I had everything I've prayed for, a stress-free life, living my dream along side fulfilling my purpose. How about you? Blur it all out to God and He would strengthen and comfort you, if you are in His season, believe me, it is worth it.

A WORD THAT COMES TO PAST

ASSIGNMENT Study 2 Kings 7:1 and submit a summary, giving the points and include your lessons. 2 Kings 7:1 is a prophesy given by Elisha to the King and the people of Israel. Right after the word was given one of the Lords in the King's Palace voiced his doubts. Elisha then gave an prophesy that the doubter would witness it happen all right, however he would not live to enjoy it. Four lepers who were at the point of death decided to go to the Syrian camp and seek for food, God made their footsteps sound like warriors so the Syrians fled. Upon arrival the lepers found the camp empty and informed the king. Once again the Lord doubted it so the king had to send a few men to check, after the confirmation, the same Lord was assigned at the gate to keep the people in check however they trod upon him and he died. The prophesy given was fulfilled. I would explain the bible texts under four topics. Prophesy is the first topic. The LORD gave a word to Elisha for the Israelites as they ...

MADE FOR HIM

ISAIAH 64:4 Even to your old age and gray hair I am He. I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.God's existence is timeless. From your birth till your death. He is God, it would be a profit to experience Him. He gave you life. "I have made you." He wove you in your mother's womb, even before she attended antenatal care, He watched and cared for you till your time in the womb was due.His responsibility for you continued, "I will carry you." He would guide you, God is supposed and that is why things don't end well when your life is devoid of His guidance. "I will sustain tou," Every body needs support, we all need strength and that is how our God sustains us."I will rescue you; "danger calls for rescue and you can count on God for a rescue

PSALM 97

GOD THE SUPREME RULER The LORD reigns. We rejoice during the reign of a good king. He is clothed in righteousness. He declares judgement and it is just. No evil dares stands in His way for He is consumed with fire. His voice is like thunder and lightening, demons tremble, mountains move and storms calm.Every man testifies of the righteousness of God and everyone seems His glory. No god can replace our God. He is more than we could ever ask for, He is a package and those who subscribe to Him are blessed. When He declared judgments, His children rejoice for the LORD has vindicated them. His place is above what eyes can see, He is exalted above all gods. If you love the LORD, you shall hate evil and when you do, the LORD would deliver you from the hand of the wicked. The righteousness projects the light of God, gladness is the portion for the upright in heart. Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous and give thanks at the remembrance of His Holiness.

EXPECTATIONS

Do you have expectations? Do you run through the week expecting nothing new? I use to find myself in this situation, I work in a firm which operates on shifts so on Sundays, it is renewed. With a timetable at hand I am aware of how my week would be hence I don't look forward to anything new. My week had been devoid of joy because my routine had become a regular activity then, the Holy Spirit drew my attention. I was praying about favour, when the Holy Spirit reminded me of my mindset. My work had been the same for a while because I allowed a timetable to define my week, expecting nothing new.I have changed my ways, I shall start my week with good expectations from above

DENIAL

Peter denied Jesus three times even after being told of what was about to happen. Not in a million years would I have expected Peter to be the rock upon which Christ would establish His church. Peter returned to fishing after the death of Christ, what would you have done? Denying Jesus Christ three times right infront of Him, guilt and shame would torment me forever. Jesus Christ went searching for Peter when He was resurrected from the dead. Finding Peter devastated, He assist him in getting a bountiFUL. catch; right then they knew it had to be Jesus Christ. After the catch they dined, Jesus Christ asked Peter on three counts if he loved Him. John 21:15-17"When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, 'Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?' Peter said to Him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I Love you.' Jesus said to Him, 'Feed my lambs'"He said to him a second time, 'Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter said to ...

THE CONTRARY

1 Samuel 2:1-10 HANNAH'S PRAYER H annah, a barren woman prayed onto God and He answered in His time. She made a vow to dedicate the child to God and she fulfilled it, she sent the child; Samuel, to serve the house of God.  What is your state in the face of troubles? Are you heartbroken? Are you discouraged? Are you in doubts? Does God seem powerless? Does the devil whisper weakening words to you and do you open your spirit to it? Normally, you are expected to grief in times of troubles, fear and panic should take over and then you are expected to word defeat and give in to temptation.  B ut! When you do the contrary, the devil is confused. Rubber is expected to melt when exposed to fire but when it doesn't; it becomes a mystery. And more and more fire would be exposed to it till a conclusion is made. Why should you rejoice in times of troubles, that is healthy for you and that is how you can survive. Does troubles prove the non-existence of God? Does night prove that the...

BE BOLD

I felt burdened to share this today, I hope it speaks to your heart.

FRIDAYS

Roughly 99% of people look forward to Friday each week.An average person has a busy week with little time to spare. The world has not slowed down and it surely wouldn't for anyone, day in and day out expenses are increasing and getting expensive. Money is the language you need to speak if you want to survive. Why wait for Friday? Friday begins the weekend, a sign of heave for the stressed and depressed. The weekend is a get away from daily routines; a temporary solution to problems piled up. So what happens over the weekend? Fun! Hangouts, parties, clubbing, etc. How is your weekend? I understand that we need to release stress, life is lived once and should be lived well. Does your weekend activities pose harm to your body or spirit? Note, you are a spirit living in a house, if you do not maintain the house, you would be forced to evacuate. Just because we only live once doesn't mean we should waste it, don't just look forward to Friday to inflict harm on your body and spir...

FREE FROM SLAVERY

A LETTER FROM PAUL TO PHILEMON Phiĺemon 1:1 Onesimus was once a slave to Phiĺemon. He fled! He was in bondage, discomforted with no hope of freedom; He fled which was a crime however, it was either that or he stayed a slave presumably forever. If you enslaved to anything of this world? Flee for your freedom and find refuge in God. God guided Onesimus to come into contact with Paul who introduced Christ to him. Now a born again, Paul asked him to return to his master who had also converted to Christianity.I for one would not have returned! Who knows what trauma Onesimus must have gone through as a slave and who knows the heart of PHILEMON? Had he genuinely accepted Jesus Christ as his LORD personal saviour? Was he going to see his slave as his brother in Christ? I trust Paul's judgement, if he was convinced that PHILEMON was a born again and was not going to harm Onesimus then it was right he sent him back.To the glory of God, a former slave was to be welcomed as a brother in Ch...

YOUR PURPOSE

EXODUS 3: 1-12 MOSES AND THE BURNING BUSH It is good to be at the right place. Moses went to the backside of the desert to feed the flock. Unknown to him, the LORD awaited. To the surprise of Moses, he saw a burning bush which was not consumed. He drew near and LORD spoke, "draw not nigh hither; put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is Hloy ground." He panicked and fell to his feet, God enlightened him on his purpose, Moses was fortunate to be told of his purpose. Everyone has a purpose, it is one thing to be aware of it anc another thing to fulfill it. A man asked me to add these points to my daily prayers: LORD, please guide me LORD, please show me my purpose and align my path to it.Amen If God has your back, you can never miss your path or your purpose. You might not seem like the ideal person to fulfill the purpose but God knows the right person for each task, trust Him.
GENESIS 18: 1-15 The Three Visitor she LORD appeared unto Abraham. After reading, kindly note these; He was at the right place. He was sensitive. He was generous,He was favoured in the sight of the visitors He had faith. Abraham was sensitive enough to know who they were, (3 in number) he offered them water to wash their feet, a place of rest and food. After the feast, the LORD prophesied the birth of Isaac, Sarah doubted it, shouldn't that have angered the LORD? Doubt hinders the fulfilment of prophecies. Abraham believed in the LORD, presumably his faith was strong enough to receive the word from the LORD. Note this, the three visitors were on their way to visit Sodom and Gomorah, to destroy them; for their sins had angered the LORD. On His way to destroy a city. He blessed one who had found favour in His sight. Mind you, Lot and his family lived in the same city destined for doom. What was to become of Abraham's nephew? He had settled in a wrong place, was he to be spare...

COVENANTS

God is a covenant God. He directs you, you follow suit and you enjoy the benefits of the covenant. God made a covenant with Abraham( His named was changed from Abram to Abraham) and included his seed after him. Abraham served God and caused a whole generation to be blessed as well. What are you doing for your generation? What covenant have you made for your generation? Who have you made a covenant with? Have you fulfilled your covenants? What is a covenant? A covenant is a bond established between two entities with conditions attached to it. The conditions which must be followed is what makes the covenant genuine. When one of the partakers does not fulfill his side of the condition, the said person faces consequences.Be under the covenant of God for your generation and fulfill your conditions. An example of a covenant is a tithe. Malachi 3:10 "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, If I ...

YOU NEED A COMFORTER

A life without the Holy Spirit can be frustrating.

NETIZENS

our world today, is characterised with competition on the internet. We have created this perfect world on the internet, with a standard so high we have to do the abominable to fit in. We update our pages daily to entertain the crowd our fame has attracted. People go through pain and suffering to project their best and for them, it is worth it. The fact is that the crowd is never satisfied, they want more and more each day, they would suffocate and drian you till you dry up.
